Social Media Specialist
SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST
Kepler Interactive is a collective of creatives working together to bring bold, beautiful ideas and experiences to life. We believe in empowering creativity, championing diverse voices, and shaping what’s next in interactive entertainment.
Creativity is at the core of everything we do, it’s the backbone of how we work. We back artistic vision, push boundaries, and believe in doing things differently.
We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist who lives and breathes online culture and can turn great ideas into content that people want to engage with. You'll need to be genuinely immersed in culture, with an appreciation for games, but with an eye to how video games interact with other parts of the cultural spectrum
This is a hands-on creative role. You’ll work across Kepler Interactive and our portfolio of games and creative projects, creating content, spotting opportunities and helping us to get cut through across social media platforms and communities always with our brand vision at the front of mind.
You’ll need to know what’s happening online, be able to read the cultural tone on social platforms in real time and be proactive in turning that knowledge into timely, culturally resonant ideas and content.
Success in this role looks like:
Creating distinctive, engaging social content that feels right for each project, audience and platform, and aligns to our values and brand vision.
Being ahead of trends and proactively identifying opportunities rather than waiting for a brief.
Building a strong understanding of what works across our channels, using performance data to make the next piece of content better.
Bringing ideas to the table and having the confidence to experiment with them.
Being genuinely engaged with video games and the culture surrounding them, using that fluency to create impactful social content.
What you’ll do
Create and publish social content across Kepler Interactive, and our portfolio of games and projects.
Take an active role in growing, shaping and executing our social strategy for Kepler Interactive’s own channels, with a clear sense of what makes our brand and vision distinctive from the games we publish.
Identify, and spot the moments and assets worth debuting to Kepler Interactive’s audience, building the Kepler brand alongside each game.
Proactively identify trends, conversations, formats and cultural moments we should be part of and react quickly.
Adapt ideas and assets for different platforms rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach to social.
Work closely with Creative, Marketing and our studios to plan and execute social campaigns and content that supports campaign and launch activities.
Own the day-to-day running of social channels, including planning, scheduling, publishing and co-ordinating posts across a wide range of social media platforms including, but not limited to, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, Reddit and Discord.
Use social and platform analytics tools to monitor community sentiment and report learnings on content performance to inform future creative decisions.
Keep up with changes to platforms, formats, algorithms and audience behaviour.
Actively contribute to team ideation session, bringing creative and experimental ideas to continuously improve social media presence for all projects.
Create social first assets and video content outside of key tentpole moments and creative assets.
Priority skills
Creative, curious and comfortable generating ideas as well as executing them.
Proactive, you don’t need to wait for someone to tell you what’s happening online.
Able to interpret social performance data and use it to improve content and decision making.
Strong judgement around tone, audience and brand, including a genuine grasp of what make Kepler Interactive’s own identity and vision distinctive both separately and together with the games we publish.
You seek influences from everywhere and anywhere, not just relying on those commonly seen within video games.
Comfortable experimenting, learning quickly and adapting.
A genuine interest in video games and the culture surrounding them.
Key requirements
Experience working in a hands-on social media or content role
Strong content creation skills and the ability to take an idea through to execution.
A strong understanding of the major social platforms, their audiences what works where, why it works, and how communities evolve.
Experience using social publishing, analytics and reporting tools.
A natural awareness of online culture, trends and emerging formats.
Able to create content, comfortable making things with Adobe Suite, CapCut, Premiere, or whatever platforms help you to deliver. And if you're not, you're happy to learn.
